last day of the year

I can't believe that the year is ending soon. Like in another 2 hours.

This year have truly being a hectic, happening, and tiring year. There are many first time I have experience, made many new friends and overcome many hurdles. Haha. The times when I was working in metro seems to be just yesterday.

I still remember spending the first three months of the year working, thinking that I would never ever go into a junior college. Those were enjoyable times, although my job scope only consists of collecting money from the customers on paper, in reality we must do much more. We had to deal with customers, react on the spot. There was no textbook or guidebook with instruction on how to serve the customer, there were so many kind of people out there, and it was only after I have started working than I have realized it.

I have also made many friends while working too. Good friends. After all we have spent at least 3 months of our lives together, and experienced many interesting things. I have also spent my 17th birthday with them. It was the most interesting birthday I have ever had in my life so far. It was the first time I had twenty over person gather outside a store singing a birthday song for me, and many things followed. Haha.

When our o level results came out, I was really very shocked. I did not expect to do well. I was really very confused on what I wanted to do in the future. At first, I have always wanted to get into the course optometry; it was my one and only goal. But after understanding the needs of the course which needed me to be strong in biology( my worst subject) and the realization I have came to after working in metro, I was not so sure that I had interest in science anymore. I wanted a job which I would be able to help and interact with different people; I wanted to go into the service industry. Haha, but I was not sure was it just an impulse, so in the end I have chose to go to the junior college, to give myself more time to think over what I really wanted.

Adapting to junior college was a huge thing. I felt that I could not fit in at all, during the first few days. I feel so out of place and immediately regretted choosing the junior college and even went to appeal to go into the polytechnics, really do not know what I was doing. I spend the first month of my time in junior college mopping over the fact that I should not have chosen jc instead of catching up with the work that I have missed. What a bad student I am. And as expected, my appeal did not get through and I was stuck in jc. Haha and now I realize it was not so bad after all. I am lovin’ it!! (Aside from my horrible results)

I have made many great friends in the jc, the seven wonders!! The singles club!! I just love them so much. But I was rather difficult to juggle between my friends who are in poly and my junior college friends. There was one period of time when I was out every day, either with my secondary schools friends, metro friends or junior college friends. It was so tiring for me, I did not even have time for myself, but I did not want to reject them as I am afraid that we will lost contact, however as time pass by, I realizes I was not true, friendship dose not just disappear in a day or a week, the bond of friendship is strong. Now, even if I do not meet up with my friends for a long time, we are still able to talk like before, in fact there is so much to talk about that sometimes we can just sit in a café and talk all day long.

Haha.

There is so much I want to say because so much has happen this year. I do not know where to start from of where to stop. Oh gosh.

But this year, what I have truly learned in that I might not be able to have everything my way, but it will be good if I would be able to adapt and not sink in sorrow.

With the following year, I want to be able to :

expressed what I really feel to people
to be more determine ( to sit down and study and buck up on my studies!)
not to be fickle minded!
let him know.

I am looking forward to the next year and the new challenges ahead!

The new year in another 1 hour and 36 mins!

Happy new year!

hongkong and shen zhen trip

After 4 hours of tedious and a squeezy ride on Jetstar, I have finally and safely reach hongkong. By the time, we have settled everything and check into the hotel, it was about 1 pm. Haha. I was exhausted. The first thing my sister and I did was to switch on the television!! Haha. They have over 40 channels there!! I am so envious (>.<)

The first meal I had in hong kong was the most memorable one!! My father ordered 45 dumplings for lunch and 2 plate of drunken chicken and a plate of vegetable. Eating 45 dumplings was no easy feat. Ha. I made a resolution right there and then that I would never eat another dumpling EVER! On the trip.

We did not do much on that day, we went around looking for a package to Shen Zhen and we took a ferry, the ferry ride was very very bumpy. Haha we had streamboat that night.
One important thing to note!! There is a lot of handsome guys there, haha lots of eye candy.

We did not do much during the first 2 days in hong kong. But shopping that was really tempting and expensive. The moment my sister and I walked into the departmental store, we came out more then 100 sing dollars poorer. That was the most ever I spent in a departmental store.

Haha. We went over to Shenzhen on the third day. The train ride only took 45 mins!! So convinent. The best thing that ever happened to me in Shenzhen was that, the hotel we were staying in had a computer in the room!! With internet connections!!! And the service was great!! Despite being a three star hotel. The food in Shenzhen is also very cheap and affordable. We had dim sum at sunshine hotel I think, a five star hotal near the hotel we were staying in. good food, yum yum. And it only cost about 20 sing, for like 12 different dishes.

O and the departmental stores there are havin summer sales when I was there!! Everything was on like 70% sale. Hahaha. I almost went bonkers!! Hee. I brought 2 shirts from ozoc. And lots more!!

But the best thing about Shenzhen was the shi jie zi chuan, an amusement park there. The performance at night was great. An outdoor performance with Lots of dancing and music.. But on drawback was that, there were many people smoking, around me. I though I was going to die of lung cancer right there and then.
